Chihuahua.- Police officers attached to the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office arrested Eduardo Fernández Herrera, former Secretary of Health in the government of Javier Corral Jurado, while he was at the Ángeles Hospital.
The public ministry accuses him of the crime of illegal use of powers, regarding the contracting of a loan of 401 million pesos.
Said loan was acquired by the Chihuahuan Institute of Health (Ichisal) with the Bansi institution.
The former secretary was admitted to the State Center for Social Reintegration (Cereso) of Aquiles Serdán and in the next few hours he will be made available to a control judge.
Hernández Herrera is the fourth person linked to the Javier Corral administration who has been arrested.
This is without counting the cases of Antonio PC, and Arturo FV, two other former corralistas officials who, despite having arrest warrants, have not been apprehended.
