Today marks one more week since the end of the first season of the anime of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, which is adapting the latest story arc of Kubo Tite’s manga. For this reason we bring you one of the best cosplays that have emerged in recent months, with which the beautiful Anya iChoi gives life to I’m Fon.
The Bleach anime and manga was considered one of the big three almost two decades ago, along with One Piece and Naruto, but for a while its anime was on hiatus to avoid adding filler while the mangaka finished his story. Today we can say that Bleach is back and what better way to celebrate it than with Anya’s Soi Fon cosplay.
Soi Fon (or Sui-Feng) is the commander of the Special Forces and captain of the Gotei 13’s second division, who has a past linked to Yoruichi and has been around since the first story arc. Thanks to the excellent cosplay that Anya iChoi presented, we know what Soi Fon would look like in a live-action adaptation of Bleach, since what she presented has no flaws.
Anya shared her Soi Fon cosplay when the first season of the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War anime was starting and in her post she said that her first cosplay was of a character from this series, specifically Rangiku Matsumoto. Soi Fon’s new cosplay was featured in a collaborative project where more than two dozen cosplayers dressed up as Gotei 13 captains and lieutenants, with incredible results.
Unfortunately, since then, Anya iChoi has not shown us her Soi Fon cosplay again, since she has not shared any more photos of her tribute to the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War anime. In any case, the Bleach anime is back and we hope that at the end of 2023 we will see the second season of it, so we could see more cosplays from Anya that pay tribute to the work of Kubo Tite.
