Apple has just introduced the new Watch series 9 and the new Watch Ultra 2.
These are the new specs
The Series 9 GPU is up to 30 percent faster, and the Apple Silicon processor’s neural engine is twice as fast as the chip in its predecessor. Siri processes dictation input 25x more precisely and allows access to your own health data via voice commands in English and Chinese.

Double tap: A new gesture feature
By the way: There is another new gesture that Apple has copied from the Vision Pro: When using the new Apple Watches, you can double-tap your thumb and index finger against each other to forward certain commands to the watch via the neural engine. In this way, calls can be answered or alarm clocks can be muted.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the watch, which was introduced in 2014 and went on sale in 2015, Apple is working on the Watch’s biggest changes to date. The focus is on a microLED display for even better colors and contrast, the long-awaited blood pressure sensor – and, above all, a new magnetic attachment for the bracelet.
The Watch Series 9 comes in five bright colors (aluminum), including a chic pink, as well as three versions with a stainless steel case. It’s available for pre-order today, starting at $399 and shipping September 26th.
Apple Watch and the environment

The Watch 9 is manufactured in a completely climate-neutral manner and will no longer receive leather straps from Apple. With the new FineWoven textile technology, Apple has created two elegant replacement products.
In addition, the Watch 9 is packaged in a much more compact box and the Sport Loop bracelets are made from more recycled materials. Partners such as Nike and Hermes will also produce more climate-neutral accessories for the smartwatch in the future.

The specs mentioned, climate neutrality and more also apply to the new Apple Watch Ultra 2. It launches on the same dates and starts at $799. 3000 nits brightness for the display for better readability, a new modular dial with environmental data and an automatic night mode are the central innovations of the watch.
