Apple Watch Ultra users are currently having difficulty recognizing content on the display.
The reason for this is probably a bug in the new watchOS 10 that is related to the ambient light sensor. Apparently it reacts too sensitively to light and dims the clock display too early.
Watch Ultra: Darker instead of brighter
Among other things to report Those affected online report that their watch is hardly usable in its current state. The new Apple Watch Ultra has an even brighter display than its predecessors – with up to 3000 nits brightness.
The worst thing about the readability of the clock is when you quickly move from a bright to a dark room. It is currently unclear whether Apple is aware of the error and will do something about it.
