On Tuesday afternoon, the Prosecutor’s Office announced that three people suspected of involvement in the explosion in Grimsta had been released.
– The suspicions against the persons remain and the preliminary investigation continues, says Chamber Prosecutor Liselotte Nilsson at the Västerort Prosecutor’s Chamber in Stockholm, who is leading the preliminary investigation.
According to information to SVT, one of those released is a well-known rap artist.
Still in custody
One person is still in custody and is reasonably suspected, which is the lower degree.
It was on Monday that an explosive device exploded in an apartment building in Grimsta. Another famous rap artist is written on the address.
The explosion is one of several acts that shook Stockholm in the past week. The police say they are investigating whether there may be any connection.
– We do not rule out that there is a connection between the explosions, the shootings and the murder that took place during the Christmas weekend and the intervening days, said police spokesperson Ola Österling on Monday.
