Mikel Arteta apparently wants to guide Declan Rice to Arsenal. According to the ‘Daily Mirror’, the Gunners’ manager is keen to hold talks with the midfielder after the current season in order to encourage him to move to London. Arteta is convinced he can help the current Premier League runners-up bring the Englishman on board.

Rice, who has a contract with West Ham United until 2024, has long been considered Arsenal’s dream player. However, if Hammers coach David Moyes has his way, signing the 24-year-old will be a costly pleasure: “He’s a top player and he will be the British transfer record when he leaves West Ham without a doubt.”
