Brighton & Hove Albion have turned down an offer worth around €68m for midfielder Moisés Caicedo. This is reported by The Athletic. As a result, Arsenal made representations to the Seagulls with the offer mentioned, but the offer was rejected. Most recently, Brighton also turned down Chelsea FC, which had submitted an offer of around 63 million euros.

Caicedo is under contract with Brighton until 2025. The sixth in the table thwarts the sale of the 21-year-old. Apparently, one would only be willing to talk if the transfer fee was almost 100 million euros. In 2021, Brighton paid just five million euros for the Ecuadorian’s services. Since then, the sweeper has blossomed into one of the Premier League’s finest young central midfielders.
