Lots of new hardware at this year’s CES 2023 in Las Vegas. ROG, the gaming division of Asus, is also part of the party. Among the new announcements is the new line of laptop devices from the Zephyrus family. It offers chips from Intel, AMD and Nvidia and packs them in a slim design. For example, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14-inch gaming laptop that has a ROG Nebula HDR Mini-LED display with QHD resolution and 165 Hz, which is Pantone-validated and has an aspect ratio of 16:10 . Another panel option is FHD with 144 Hz.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7000 series CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 GPU with a maximum 125 W TGP, a MUX switch and Nvidia Advanced Optimus. Despite the performance, overheating should be avoided by a vapor chamber for the CPU and GPU, liquid metal cooling for the CPU and two 84-blade arc flow fans, according to the manufacturer. According to the press release, the 76 Wh battery allows plenty of time for gaming.

The ROG Zephyrus G16 and ROG Zephyrus M16 both come with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 40, with the M16 having a maximum 145W TGP and the G16 a maximum 120W TGP. Both feature a MUX switch and Nvidia Advanced Optimus. The ROG Nebula display of the ROG Zephyrus G16 has a 94% screen-to-body ratio in a 16:10 format, while the 90 Wh battery promises long gaming sessions.

ROG Zephyrus M16 has a ROG Nebula HDR display in QHD resolution with Mini-LED backlighting and 240Hz at 3ms, G-Sync and a 92% screen-to-body ratio in 16:10 Format. It also features a large, fast-charging 90Wh battery with Power Delivery 3.0. The Thunderbolt 4 ports are present in both the G16 and M16. The M16 also has the AniMe matrix display, which can be customized.

All Zephyrus models have a 180° ErgoLift hinge for comfort, Dolby Atmos speakers and a 3D microphone array with different modes and two-way AI noise canceling for communication. The G14 and M16 models are equipped with an FHD IR camera, the G16 with an HD 720p IR camera. All models come with Windows Hello support. Connectivity options include a 100W USB Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4, PD charging support, and Wi-Fi 6E, among others.

Unfortunately, Asus has not yet given any information on the prices and release dates for Germany. They will surely follow later.
