A Berlin police squad car overturned on its side in an accident with a car at the Zoo station in Berlin. This was announced by a police spokesman on Easter Sunday on request.
The spokesman could not yet say how many police officers were in the squad car when the accident occurred. The police vehicle turned into the intersection at the Zoologischer Garten train station around 1 p.m. with so-called special and right-of-way – i.e. with blue lights and a signal horn – and then collided with a car, the spokesman said.
The driver and two police officers were injured in the collision. (dpa)
