An attempted break-in in Neukirchen-Vluyn failed. Unknown perpetrators tried to break into a house. They didn’t get far.
On Friday between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., unknown persons smashed the window pane of a single-family house on Im Schönen Winkel street. The perpetrators did not get into the house, as the police reported on Monday.
The window therefore has double glazing. Only the front pane of glass had been damaged by the stone. The rear window was completely intact. The stone probably came from the owner’s garden, it is said.
The criminal police have started the investigation and are asking for witness information to the police in Moers, telephone 02841 /171-0.
