The Australian training provider Go1 strengthens itself in Berlin, where it takes over the company Blinkist. This lays the foundation “for a new, holistic offer” for lifelong learning, said Go1.

Blinkist is an app that “packages and explains the content of non-fiction books in memorable short texts”. According to its own information, the library includes 5500 titles. “Based on scientific findings, each title is prepared by our specially trained authors and made available to the user,” says Blinkist.

By merging with Go1, the offer for companies can be expanded more quickly and “at the same time we can contribute our expertise in mobile learning outside of the work environment,” said Blinkist.

Blinkist CEO and co-founder Holger Seim becomes Go1’s COO Learner. According to the data, more than eight million learners from over 60 countries use Go1 to access curated, personalized training and courses. Go1 has a library of 80,000 courses.
