“Get them all!” has been the concise catch phrase of the for more than a quarter of a century Pokemon series – the most valuable, because the highest-selling media franchise of all time! While the implementation of this task initially turned out to be quite feasible with “only” 151 Pokémon in the first games Red, Blue and Yellow, the constant increase in virtual little monsters over the years has ensured that nowadays only extremely ambitious Pokémon fans really collect all available pocket monsters. Because now there are actually over 1,000 different Pokémon – a magic number that The Pokémon Company is celebrating with a really nice treat for the fans.

For newcomers who are playing a Pokémon game for the first time with the current generation Crimson & Crimson, the task of catching all Pokémon is more extensive than ever before. To celebrate this major milestone, The Pokémon Company has a nearly nine-minute video on YouTube published in which actually all 1,008 Pokémon are shown – albeit in quick succession. The video consists of numerous game scenes from nine Pokémon generations, from Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow for the Game Boy to Pokémon Crimson & Crimson on the Nintendo Switch.

while the number of Pokemon steadily grew over the years, Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the (especially technical) quality of the games, on the contrary.
