Ayelén Mazzina, Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity.

Miguel Angel PichettoAuditor General of the Nation, caused a huge stir last night with his controversial statements about the head of the Ministry of Women, Gender and National Diversity, Ayelen Mazzina, whom he criticized for the role of his portfolio in the case of Lucio Dupuy. Pichetto also affirmed that at the head of that portfolio should be “a woman” and not “a girl who is a lesbian.” The official official responded this Saturday morning through a challenging message on social networks, as a reply to the former national senator.

“I am a woman, lesbian, feminist and Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity of the Nation and I invite Pichetto to talk about ESI when you feel ready”, says the message published by Minister Mazzina on her Twitter account. In this way, the official referred promptly to the National Comprehensive Sexual Education Program, created by Law 26,150, which provides for the issuance of ESI in all educational establishments in the country, state and private management, and at all levels, but also surely to the mandatory training in gender perspective determined by Law Micaela 27499 for all the members of the three powers of the State.

Then, Mazzina appealed to irony and the popular gif of a visibly disoriented girl -in this case due to Pichetto’s statements- to finish her answer: “Meanwhile, lesbians watching Pichetto say that we are not women.”
