Icy mood in sunny Rio de Janeiro…

The Bachelor and his final four chosen have taken their dating adventure from Mexico to Sugar Loaf. The legendary Dreamdates should take place here in episode nine. Things didn’t go so well for one.

What Chiara (26) did not know up to this point: On the last night of roses, another nasty blasphemed about her. Candidate Rebecca (28) claimed in a one-on-one interview with David that the Munich native was not serious about him and was playing the wrong game in front of the camera.

The influencer was shocked, could no longer concentrate on a conversation and struggled with his decision. But in the end he sent her rival Rebecca home instead of Chiara.

In the episode on Wednesday evening, the intrigue had an aftermath. On the dream date with the candidate, David addressed the topic openly. The meeting itself started quite harmoniously. The lovebirds trundled through the metropolis in an old tram, held hands and chatted in a relaxed manner.

Chiara gushed: “I didn’t have to think about anything. Our hands found each other by themselves.”

David had already announced in the individual interview: “There is definitely one thing that I still want to address today.” Before that, he could not get involved with her 100 percent. She too had noticed that something had been on his mind since last night of the roses. When both were sitting in a café, the time had come. David poured Chiara pure wine.

“It has come to my attention that you are different in front of the camera than I experience you,” he began. Since then, the bachelor has been wondering if there was anything he hadn’t checked. Chiara’s first reaction, without knowing the person’s name: “The reason is definitely because we are competitors. Another woman must have told you that.”

Eventually David got specific and gave a name. “It was Rebekah. You’ll see it later anyway.” His rose candidate’s facial expressions froze. Chiara obviously hadn’t expected that. What the bachelor said next almost brought tears to her eyes. Rebecca was even really relieved when it was out, David recalled. It really burned her in the soul.

Chiara could hardly believe what she heard, later vented her anger in front of the camera. She didn’t leave a good hair on the intriguer. “To put others down and also to spread lies in a situation that is about to be decided … I think it’s weak.”

And she went further: “For me, it’s far from having a strong character, a strong personality and a strong sense of self.”

When David asked if there was an incident between the women that led to Rebecca’s action, he too learned something new. Until now, only the girls knew about Chiara’s TV plans. Two years ago she wanted to distribute roses herself.

The candidate now also shared this with David. “We talked about different TV formats in the villa. And I said that I once applied to the ‘Bachelorette’.” From this it would have been deduced that she was on the dating show to become a Bachelorette.

No reason for David to question Chiara’s real intentions towards him. He still doesn’t think she’s fooling him, the single assured his dating partner. For the bachelor, the topic was ticked off. Chiara had to nibble on it longer. For her, Rebecca simply used unfair means.

Her conclusion about the former rival: “Everyone here has their own way of winning their hearts. Some girls do it with compliments, others with tenderness, others with deep words. And some just try by making others worse.” The disappointment ran deep. But the dream date continued in a good mood after the clarifying conversation.

Chiara was also able to shine again when the roses were awarded. David sent her, Angelina (28) and Lisa (32) to the next round. In the end Henriette (25) had to go. It wasn’t enough for them to reach the semi-finals next week.
