Who recently in a net market went shopping should now take a close look in the fridge or freezer compartment: there is one at the moment recall for a product that was sold at a discount store. However, the information on the packaging is incorrect.

Glocken-Beune GmbH & Co. is calling Bacon strips back: It cannot be ruled out that the article with the wrong expiration date was awarded, according to a statement from the company. On the pack was the March 24, 2024 printed as an expiration date, but the product is actually only available until March 24, 2023 durable. “The specific properties are guaranteed up to this date,” the company explains. After that, the bacon strips should no longer be eaten.

The item was offered in net stores, but has now been removed from the sale taken. Other sell-by dates and other items from Glocken-Beune GmbH are not affected by the recall. However, anyone who has already bought the product can return the item in a net market and receive it purchase price reimbursed – even without presenting the receipt.
