Mexico City.- With some failures in the sound, a speech and the assistance of Kendall Jenner in the audience, this Friday Bad Bunny performed at Coachella, making history as the first Latino headliner.

“A Summer without you”, “Titi asked me”, “Neverita”, “Efecto” and “El Apagón”, “Another night in Miami”, and “If we were together”, were songs with which the Puerto Rican set the mood at the music festival.

Between topic and topic, he addressed a few words to his followers, which have been interpreted on social networks, and they even say that it has to do with the rumors about his recent romance with the model Kendall Jenner.

“People will never be able to understand what an artist really feels, that’s why everything you see on social networks or the media say, don’t believe it if it doesn’t come from me. Do you want to meet me? I invite you to my house. Who wants to know me?” Said the reggaeton player.

Clips have been posted on Twitter in which Jenner was caught, that night, singing and dancing in the audience.

The show also featured documentary-style footage with voiceovers that contextualized the history of Latin American, and more specifically Caribbean, music that figures prominently in his work.

It also included references to classics such as “Las Tumbas”, by Ismael Rivera, and “Brujería”, by El Gran Combo.

In addition to remembering the singer Tego Calderon, he had guests like Jowell and Randy, with whom he performed “Safaera” and the rapper Post Malone, who appeared with his acoustic guitar, but had problems with the sound and “Yonaguni” had to be sung by all the fans.

Finally Jayco took the stage to perform “Dakiti”, “He doesn’t know me” and “How does he feel”.

Bad Bunny asked the public if they preferred to speak English or Spanish, and the answer was resounding: in Spanish.

Although he had already played Coachella as a solo artist in 2019, Bad Bunny said Friday night was a milestone in his successful career.

“There has never been someone like me before,” he said.

The Bad Rabbit was accessible in front of the public, he even came to greet a few and take selfies.

Bad Bunny was the first Latino and Spanish-speaking musician to headline the renowned festival, which takes place over two consecutive three-day weekends and traditionally kicks off the summer touring circuit.
