After the death of his father, Mario Barravecchia went through a dark period, partly aggravated by his divorce, he actually stopped music at that time. This difficult period lasted three years, as he explained: “After my divorce, I went into a tailspin. Every other week, when I didn’t have my children (Matteo and Lily, the first two from his marriage to Nelly Osten, Editor’s note), I worked as late as possible. Then, I joined friends at the restaurant. I had a glass, then two, then the bottle. I ended up going home exhausted. In reality, I was running away from times when I was alone, times when I was dwelling on my divorce, the death of my father.“Fate finally smiled on Mario Barravecchia, thanks to Jessica, his partner and the mother of his daughter Andrea. This meeting marked a positive turning point in his life:”Luckily I met my wife, Jessica, the mother of my third child, Andrea. My life took a different direction. I feel like my father died and left his place to my wife. She was like a magic wand in my life which took a bad turn after a divorce, a toxic story, the disappearance of my father. Thanks to her, I felt fulfilled again.”
