Batgirl was supposed to make its feature film debut starring Leslie Grace, but instead became one of several discontinued productions under Warner Bros. Discovery’s new management and will never see the light of day. Now Grace chooses to welcome 2023 and say goodbye to 2022 by showing some scenes from the movie, which includes a new Batgirl costume that differs from previous marketing. She writes like this on Instagram along with a video of her Batgirl costume:
“thank u for teachin’ me, 2022. you were singular in many ways that will stay with me. my gratitude and love for life is much deeper thanks to the experiences you brought me. i take your lessons with me as we part. here’s to many more stories to tell, memories to make, and love to give in 2023.”
Right now, there are no plans to give Batgirl her own movie, but we’ll see what James Gunn and Peter Safran decide to do once they’re done with their new DC agenda on the big screen. What do you say about this outfit? Would you like to see this movie starring Grace?
