The new Fontaine region is getting more and more leaks, though HoYoverse is about to release an expansion to the Sumeru desert region in Genshin Impact 3.4. In addition, Oficina da Net reported on the leak of the skins (clothes) of Kaeya and Klee. Information recently revealed through reliable sources reveals that we will have a Mondstadt patch released before you travel to Fontaine.
Genshin Impact is getting a Mondstadt patch
A reliable leaker named Mero recently shared the design of the upcoming playable characters that will be released. Furthermore, the leaker mentioned that there will be an upcoming update that will address the Mondstadt region.
Mondstadt’s return may come as a surprise to some, but for players who have been following the game for a longer time, it was to be expected. In this new update, the leak suggests that we will have an unknown area called Dornman Port. As its name suggests, this is a port located in Mondstadt, which so far has only been mentioned during NPC dialogue and character stories, but without mentioning where exactly it is.
Based on NPC dialogue and stories, Dornman Harbor is “too far” from “Nameless Island” to reach by boat, and the distance to the city of Mondstadt is great.
What else to expect from the new Mondstadt patch
Recently leakers said that the newly revealed image of the characters will have a new one that will debut before the arrival of the Fontaine region. However, unfortunately it was not said which of the characters the information was referring to, but of course the gaming community tried to find out for themselves.
Speculations say that it is likely that the two new characters will appear in the new update that will introduce a new area of Mondstadt.
The set of in-game artifacts reveal stories about characters that will become playable in future Genshin Impact updates. Players believe that the character to the left of the tweet image below may be the hunter mentioned in the Viridescent Venerer lore.
In the tweet above, Genshin Impact fans say that the pink-haired character will control the Anemo element. This is based on the characteristic of other Mondstadt characters with the same element.
