Leonardo León, the father of Krystal Dolores Jiménez, the young woman who appeared in bail court this Wednesday accused of child negligence, says: “that girl has been taken care of with everything … it is a great pain.”

The police report adds that the nine-month-old girl was taken to Nickalaus Children’s Hospital where “test results concluded that she tested positive for amphetamines.”
And that the defendant “provided inconsistent statements” in relation to what happened. In addition to that she “was unable to provide an explanation as to why the victim had drugs in her system.”
It is not the first time that the 35-year-old woman has faced the law, as Jiménez was in court on May 20, after being arrested on charges of molesting a minor between the ages of 12 and 16.
In addition to lewd acts against a minor, the arrest report from the time alleges that the victim revealed to authorities that he “was abused by the defendant while temporarily residing at the scene of the incident.”
This afternoon the judge in the case gave the woman a $2,500 bond, but she will have to appear again before a judge this Thursday, due to the pending charges.
