new man? Betty takes the first step
In the episode “Feurig”, which the ZDF on 10.2. shows, Betty is on the phone with Dr. star in Munich. The initially official conversation leaves her thoughtful. But because she wants to look ahead, she approaches David: “Would you like to go out for a drink later, or does your schedule not allow it?” Can he “squeeze in” – and that’s how the appointment for the end of the day is at Safi’s. At first, things went differently than expected. Betty sees things that aren’t there. Too much alcohol?
The evening drags on, in the end Safi has to throw her out. While David hopes to move on elsewhere, Betty clarifies, “I’m going home.” Fear of your own courage?
