A year and a half after his release from prison, US comedian Bill Cosby has plans for a tour. The 85-year-old said on Wednesday on the radio show WGH-Talk when asked by the host if he plans to perform again next year: “Yes, because the storytelling that I do can be so much fun.”

Cosby’s rep confirmed the announcement to industry magazine Variety, saying the comedian is targeting spring or summer of next year for his return to the stage. “I think I can step in and be the Bill Cosby that my viewers know,” said the actor and comedian, who was once considered a sitcom superstar (“The Bill Cosby Show”) and America’s godfather and 2018 became the first famous convict of the #MeToo era.

Cosby was sentenced in 2018 to a minimum of three and a maximum of 10 years in prison for sexual assault. More than 60 women had accused the actor and comedian of various kinds of sexual assault. The entertainer had always rejected the allegations.
