On Saturday, the stage was set for this year’s sports gala in Hamar. Among the stars who flocked to the red carpet were freeskier Birk Ruud (22) and TV profile, Tonje Frigstad (22).
Lately, romance rumors have abounded, after Frigstad posted a kissing photo of the two on New Year’s Eve.
The atmosphere between the duo is still good, but Ruud believes Frigstad is holding on.
This is how they met
The duo says that they have spent a lot of time together, but they are not currently lovers.
– I’ve opened up to Tonje and I’m very fond of her, so she’s the one holding back a bit, laughs Ruud.
Furthermore, Frigstad says that the two met when she interviewed Ruud ahead of the “71 degrees north: Norway’s toughest celebrity” participation in 2021.
– It was a short meeting, but that’s how we met. Then it didn’t take long before I googled myself and sent her a message, says Ruud.

The free skier was very happy to have Frigstad with him at the evening’s award ceremony.
– It’s a nice piece of jewelery to have with you, so I’m happy about it.
He himself was nominated for the award “male performer of the year” and was to present the award.
