After leaving Herne, minors attacked a couple on a regional train. What the police reported about the reason and consequences of the dispute.
Four minors are supposed to be in a Saturday night regional train shortly after departure Wanne-Eickel main station attacked a couple. The reason for the attack by the 13 to 15-year-olds is said to have been “a trifle”, reports the Federal Police.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. in the RB 32, in which a 23-year-old was driving towards Dortmund with his partner (28). The four teenagers are said to have sat in the seats next to the couple and talked loudly. When the man from Ascheberg asked them to behave a little quieter shortly after the train left Wanne-Eickel, the police said they attacked the couple aggressively.
Bleeding wound after being punched in the face
When the young man tried to keep the quartet at a distance, one of the teenagers suddenly hit him in the face with his fist. The other two are said to have also hit his partner in Dortmund in the face and on the thigh.

When the train arrived in Dortmund, the police took the young people into custody. Rescue workers treated a bloody wound in the 23-year-old’s eye. The 28-year-old suffered a shock and was also treated by a doctor. The attackers – they come from Oberhausen and Mülheim – did not want to comment on the officials. They only admitted that there had been a verbal dispute beforehand. The legal guardians have been informed.
The police secured the video recordings from the train and are currently evaluating them. The federal police officers initiated an investigation into joint, dangerous bodily harm against the minors.
