Part of the lending business is a purchase obligation of around 25 million euros, which applies if certain criteria are met. Schade will then receive a contract until 2028.

Brentford: Schade has signed

“Been watching him for a while”

Brentford coach Thomas Frank raves: I think Kevin is a typical Brentford signing. “He is a young, promising talent in whom we see great potential. We’ve been watching him for a while and think he’ll suit our playstyle. He could play on either flank with us or as a centre-forward. He has a high pace, is very good in the air, in both boxes and can still develop further.”

Schade came to SCF in 2018, for which he had been active in the pros for almost two years. Due to injuries, there are only twelve competitive games in the current season, in which he – mostly as a joker – contributed one goal and two assists. In the German U21 national team he scored four goals in five games.
