Bridgerton scriptwriter clears up doubts about season four

MIAMI.- The third season of Bridgerton I left the followers of the serie of Netflix eager for more. However, with the unexpected end of the romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, the public is debating which of the brothers who have not yet found their love story will be the next protagonist.

Although the release date of the fourth season has not yet been confirmed, the screenwriter Jess Brownell stated that she and her team are fine-tuning the last details to begin filming the production.

“We are almost at the end with the writers’ room. I feel that it is one of my best works and the best work of my team of writers,” he commented in an interview he gave to The Hollywood Reporter.

Regarding the reason why the series takes so long to premiere, Brownell pointed out that work is being done so that the remaining seasons can come out more quickly; However, he highlighted that the recording process takes more than six months.

“We are working to try to release the seasons more quickly, but they take eight months to film, and then they have to be edited and dubbed into all the languages. The writing also takes a long time, so we are on a two-year pace. We are trying to accelerate, but in that range”.

Brownell also celebrates how since the first season the public has had a positive receptivity to the series, which has allowed the development of each season to be carried out with a determining passion in order to meet the expectations of the fans.

“I’m very proud of how this season has performed and very grateful to the fans for tuning in. With each season the momentum builds more and we owe a debt to the actors from seasons one and two for helping to generate the hype. Plus “I think Nicola and Luke have helped generate a lot of enthusiasm,” he said.

Finally, the writer refused to reveal which of the brothers will star in the installment, so she invited followers of the plot to stay tuned.
