TMZ recently published an article that family and friends of Britney Spears (41) were planning an intervention due to concerns about the pop princess’s health.
In the article it is written that the singer was close to death. Spears reacts to this and has taken to Instagram to say what she thinks about the matter.
She declared that she will probably stop posting on Instagram, after the article and the revelation about the planned intervention came out.

The pop star has posted a long message on Instagram to her 41 million followers, where she writes the following:
– It makes me sick to my stomach that it is even legal for people to make up stories about me almost dying. I mean at some point enough is enough! I’ll probably have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there are obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me well! I’m honestly not surprised at all. Again, I’m doing the best I can!
– No guys, it’s not 2007. It’s 2023 and I’m making my first homemade lasagna at home! I finally got the fireplace working in my living room! As my husband says it best: don’t believe everything you read, she continues.
According to TMZ, the intervention that was planned will include the singer’s husband, Sam Asgahri, her manager and medical professionals.
No truth in the article
Britney’s manager rented a house in the LA area, where the so-called intervention was to take place. The plan was for Spears to stay there for a few months to get better, but someone at the network stopped the plan.
The pop star’s husband believes there is no truth in the TMZ article.
– An intervention did not take place. My wife is in full control of her life and will continue to make all decisions involving her care regardless of the circumstances. Speculation about her health is inappropriate and should end immediately,” he said in a statement to Access Hollywood’s Mario Lopez.
