Microsoft revealed this Wednesday (12) the schedule of the Build 2023, your annual developer-focused conference which usually serves as a stage for the presentation of various innovations for its ecosystem. In all, the catalog will have 268 sessions with the participation of executives and employees of the North American giant.

Of the total, 79 sessions and conversations will focus on artificial intelligence. One of the most commented subjects at the beginning of the year, technology is one of the areas of greatest investment by Microsoft. In less than three months, big tech introduced the new Bing Chat, Image Creator, 365 Copilot and several other tools based on AI models.

Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, will open the conference with a overview of company plans for artificial intelligence and how developers can leverage this technology to enhance their own applications and services using its tools, such as the Microsoft Graph.

There will be sessions with Panos Panay, chief product officer, and Rajesh Jha, executive vice president of Microsoft, who will deliver presentations and chat sessions with software experts on the capabilities of developing applications with artificial intelligence models in Windows and Microsoft 365.

Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of the Microsoft Cloud + AI Group, will speak about Microsoft’s cloud computing — a key piece for intelligent applications — with a focus on services such as Github Copilot and Azure OpenAI.

Another highlight is the Windows on ARM session, which will talk about the company’s investments in popularizing the architecture and compatibility of its system. One of the most recent initiatives is Arm64EC, a tool that improves the performance of x64 emulated applications on devices equipped with ARM processors.

The conference will also provide tips for developers to extend the reach of their applications using the Microsoft Store and Windows widgets, as well as reveal improvements to the operating system’s user interface through WinUI 3.0.

Microsoft Build 2023 will take place from May 23. Interested developers can register to follow the event sessions (in person or virtually) through their official page.
