And it is that Ford had only received a gift bag last year from the company.

Said gift bag contained Reese’s chocolates, a reusable Starbucks cup, and a movie ticket.

People were not happy that the worker had received such a gift after working so long, so they made donations through GoFundMe.

Regarding the gift bag, Kevin said that he was initially happy to receive it, knowing that some colleagues who had also withdrawn had not gotten anything.

Ford was the cashier and cook at a Burger King branch and never missed a single day in all his years of work.which was already admirable.

In an interview he gave to the TMZ portal, Kevin Ford said that, some time after receiving it, he had been disappointed by the bag of candy, since he had also learned that sometimes the company gave gifts of money.

As reported by the Black News portal, a year after the GoFundMe fundraising campaign for him began, more than $400,000 has been raised.

After his story went viral on social media, it was Ford’s daughter, Seryna, who created a GoFundMe page.
