The rich and famous, influencers and high society stars live in Dubai – including now rappers Bushido (44) with Wife Anna-Maria (41), eight children, three nannies and St. Bernard Pudding.
The extended family fled from the Abou Chaker clan to the Arabian desert state and is now showing their lives in the documentary “Bushido and Anna-Maria – everything on family”. There, on Thursday evening, Bushido frankly unpacked his finances and brought sums of money into play that would make some viewers’ ears shake.
“I’m sitting on 9 million euros lying around somewhere”
While Anna-Maria once again managed another part of the strenuous move on her own, Bushido met a friend from Germany for a pizza so as not to meet his stressed wife: “It was a very dangerous phase. You really have to avoid my wife.”
Bushido preferred to explain to his buddy what problems he had Arafat Abou-Chaker (46) is still ready: “All of Arafat’s creditors must now agree that the money will be paid to me. Tax office, public prosecutor’s office, Arafat himself. I have to go everywhere now and ask, ‘Do you agree with that?’”
He already knew the answer: “Everyone will say ‘yes’, only Arafat will say ‘no’.”
Shortly afterwards, Bushido revealed the horrendous amount at stake: “The money has now been frozen for at least a year or two. That means I’m sitting on 9 million euros lying around somewhere, but I can’t do anything with it!”
50,000 euros fixed costs per month!
In Dubai in particular, Bushido could make good use of his millions of assets.
The extended family has fixed costs of 50,000 euros every month!
Bushido listed: “Then we’re still renting at the same time. That’s not cheap in Dubai. We must be paying at least 30,000 euros in rent. More than double what we paid in Berlin!”
For Anna-Maria, a point has been reached where money has to be considered: “We have employees, we eat well, we eat out a lot. Yes, you need a lot of money. You have to keep that in mind.”

Nevertheless, Bushido is of the opinion that he saves money overall – because of the taxes. He gave a short digression on the different taxation in the two countries:
“One must not neglect the following point: I pay a seven-digit amount in taxes every year. Taxes only. If I no longer have to pay this amount in Dubai, I will deduct all the additional costs I have there and will probably still have more than if I practically pay my taxes and live in Germany like this.”

The fact that his wife now contributes to the family income as an influencer does not bother the rapper: “The fact that I am in the fortunate situation that my wife can also contribute a significant financial part is more of a luxury. That does not circumcise my manhood.”
A view that makes Anna-Maria’s heart beat: “Such things don’t throw him off balance. That makes him very manly for me. And then I love him even more.”
