VfB Stuttgart have not lost sight of Hugo Vetlesen after a failed attempt in the last transfer window. According to ‘Sky’ there is continued interest in the central midfielder, who plays for Norwegian top flight club FK Bodö/Glimt.

In the meantime, however, other Bundesliga clubs are said to have switched to poker for Vetlesen: Borussia Dortmund, Hertha BSC, Union Berlin and VfL Bochum are also on the 22-year-old right foot.

According to reports, Vetlesen would have been available for a manageable two million euros in winter – but he recently extended his contract, which expires at the end of the year, until summer 2025. The potential transfer fee should now be significantly higher.

Vetlesen has been playing for Bodö/Glimt for over two years and is a top performer there. In 106 appearances, the right-footed player has contributed to 56 goals (28 goals, 28 assists). In November he made his senior debut for Norway. It is possible that the next career step will soon take place at club level.
