You can imagine anyway! » she exclaims, brandishing her sign, on which it is possible to read “The State is dying in the hospital, we don’t want to die at work”.
“We must propose new advances”
For his part, Guy, retired for two years, came to support the demonstrators and in particular his wife, a civil servant, who will see his retirement reduced by two years if the reform passes in September. “She was supposed to retire on September 19…” And to conclude:
“I made children so that they would be well in their lives, in the end they will row all their lives. »
Rejection of the pension reform, look for the woman
In the crowd of demonstrators, we also meet younger people, mobilized for their future and that of their parents. “Demonstrating now allows us to show the younger generations that we are mobilizing”, says Léane, 18, a student at Sciences-Po. The young woman says to herself “very worried about his future”. “If we are mobilizing today, it is not just to say no to retirement at 64, or we stay at 62.
