The next installment of the Call of Duty franchise is the subject of leaks from insiders, and the news is raining!
The Call of Duty franchise has a rather special fate. Its games seem to get more and more reviews every year, and yet they continue to sell like hot cakes. Activision does not intend to stop there and will offer a new opus at the end of 2023. Its name, as well as other crisp information, have just leaked!
The information that we are going to share with you in this article comes from anonymous sources, they are obviously to be taken with a grain of salt. There is nevertheless reason to be relatively confident as to their veracity. They are indeed reported to us by the generally very knowledgeable insider, Tom Henderson. According to his sources, the next Call of Duty coming this year would ultimately be nothing but Modern Warfare 3. After rebooting the MW in 2019, Activision would therefore continue its momentum with a game stamped ” modern warfare 3 ».
Leaks galore for Call of Duty 2023
As reported by Jason Schreir, here confirmed by Henderson, Sledgehammer Games would be in charge, with everything being assisted by several third-party studios. While this premium experience was only supposed to be a big MW2 DLC at first, it seems that’s not really the case anymore. The various sources report that this new Call of Duty would have a Campaign, a Multiplayer mode and that it would bring in its wake a new map for Warzone 2.0. This should be launched with the first season of the new Call of Duty, during December. More surprisingly, a Zombies mode would also be present. This would obviously be a sort of Outbreak 2.0 mode (COD Black Ops Cold War)
The program already known in detail?
That’s already a lot to get your teeth into, but Insider Gaming goes even further. Their sources would thus have revealed all the dates of the various events linked to this Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 during the year. The opportunity to learn that two betas, a priori open, would be offered before the release, set for November 10.

- 05/12/2023: start of Season 1 + new map for Warzone 2.0
Among the latest information communicated by Tom Henderson, we know that Las Almas, a map that can be found as an easter egg in the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign, should serve as a new map to Warzone 2.0.
