Infinity Ward has confirmed that the next season of content for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will launch on February 15th. With it comes a host of new content, including a new map and the popular Resurgence mode from the original Warzone.

Via Twitter the developer writes that the new map will be smaller than today’s Al Mazrah. It is likely to be something similar to Rebirth Island, but exactly how big the map will be has not been confirmed.

The new map will likely be home to the Resurgence mode, where players will automatically return to matches every time they die – as long as they still have teammates alive. Potentially, it could also appear in Warzone 2.0’s DMZ mode.

Furthermore, fans can expect changes to the overall Warzone 2.0 experience. These come based on feedback from fans, and Infinity Ward hints at adjustments to gulags, loadouts and the items you pick up from the ground or defeated enemies.

All the changes will be officially revealed in a blog post sometime next week.

For those who play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, the February 15 update offers innovations for the multiplayer part. This includes ranked gameplay, as well as more maps, modes and weapons.
