MIAMI.- Singer Cardi B is in the sweet wait for its Third son. The fact was confirmed by the artist herself with a post on social media in which she shows how her belly has grown and dedicates an emotional message to the new member of the family.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I’m so grateful to have shared this season with you, you’ve brought me more love, more life and most of all a renewed power!” the interpreter began.
The 31-year-old rapper said the arrival of her baby helped her achieve new goals.
“You reminded me that I can have it all! That I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion. I love you so much and I can’t wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier to take life’s twists and turns, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth keeping going!”
Divorce
Cardi B revealed her status amid the controversy of her separation from rapero Offsetwhich was also confirmed on August 1st.
This is the second time that the Dominican-born rapper has asked for a divorce from her partner, whom she married in 2018.
In 2020, she filed for custody but later withdrew it. This time, she also asked for custody of her two children, Kulture Kiari, 6, and Wave Set, 2.
Offset’s infidelity is believed to be the cause of the divorce.
However, TMZ reported that the split was a move that had been expected for some time.
