Career of Joko Winterscheidt
Joko Winterscheidt grew up with two older sisters. His mother died of breast cancer when he was six years old. After graduating from high school, Joko Winterscheid first decided to train as an advertising salesman. He broke it off and applied unsuccessfully for training as a pilot.
Today you can almost say: luckily! Because without the initial difficulties, the popular presenter would not have found an internship at the television production company “Me, Myself & Eye”. After the traineeship he became an editor.
Then things really got going for the talented man: Vox, Arte, ProSieben, RTL, the well-known spectacles wearer could be seen everywhere. Joko Winterscheidt presented the music show “The Dome” on MTV Germany in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Joko Winterscheidt has been moderating “Who is stealing the show from me?” on ProSieben since 2021. If the contestant wins the quiz show, they can take over as the main presenter in the next show.
Joko Winterscheidt as an entrepreneur
Despite the great success as a moderator, Joko Winterscheidt also devotes his time to entrepreneurship.
- In 2009 he founded the fashion brand German Garment with actor Matthias Schweighöfer and other friends.
- He co-founded the production company Florida TV and in 2014 the agency PeJay.
- He has been selling the “Jokolade” chocolate since 2021.
- Joko Winterscheidt entered the wine business in 2017 with Matthias Schweighöfer and winemaker Juliane Eller: The label is called “III Freunde” and produces several types of wine. Juliane Eller has now left.

Joko Winterscheidt has been in a relationship with Lisa Sauer since 2005. In 2010 the couple had their daughter Mila-Marie. His family likes to leave the limelight to Joko: they lead a very private life near Munich.
