After a week in which COVID-19 infections had decreased slightly, in the last hours 72,558 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Argentina (10,655 more than the previous week)while another 47 deaths from the disease were reported (three more than during the previous period). The new sanitary part of the Ministry of Health was informed this Monday, although the information reported by the provinces was updated last Sunday.
In this way, there are 130,171 officially registered deaths at the national level and 9,963,697 those infected since the start of the pandemic. The health portfolio has not yet indicated the number of hospitalized patients with coronavirus in intensive care units or the percentage of occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sectors for all pathologies.
During the last week, 13 people died in the province of Buenos Aires, 9 in the city of Buenos Aires, 2 in Catamarca, 2 in Chacho, 1 in Chubut, 2 in Córdoba, 3 in Entre Ríos, 1 in Formosa, 1 in Neuquén , 2 in Río Negro, 5 in Salta, 2 in San Juan, 1 in San Luis, 1 in Santa Cruz and 2 in Santa Fe.
According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total number of doses applied amounts to 112,541,638, of which 41,083,265 received one dose, 37,941,933 both, 3,164,620 an additional one, 22,109,112 the first reinforcement, 7,122,434 the second, and 1,114,593 the third.
