ASUS did not fail to introduce new products for content creators and professionals who need high performance at CES 2023, a technology fair that served as a presentation stage for its unprecedented gaming notebooks. The Taiwanese unveiled this Wednesday (04) new monitors and advanced computers, routers and much more.

ASUS ExpertCenter PN64 and PN42

Shortly after launching the ASUS PL64, the manufacturer is revealing two new computers with a compact form factor and high performance. The ExpertCenter PN64-E1 is one of the releases equipped with the “latest generation of Intel mobile processors”, possibly referring to Intel’s “H”, “P” or “U” series 13th generation Cores.

The ExpertCenter PN64-E1 also features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and an SSD with PCI Express 4th generation, in addition to being offered in versions equipped with up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM. As seen in the images, there are Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet and HDMI 2.1 ports. The model supports up to four external screens with 4K resolution.

For users who prefer quieter hardware, the ExpertCenter PN42 mini PC is the ideal alternative as it uses 13th generation “N” series processors, that is, optimized to operate at low power, canceling out the noise emitted by the machine by dispensing with the use of fans. ASUS, again, does not specify the models used.

“Made responsibly from recycled plastic, the chassis of the ASUS ExpertCenter PN42 features slats on all sides for efficient heat dissipation”, explains ASUS, reiterating that the model features passive cooling.

ASUS Chromebox 5

Chromebox 5 brings much more powerful hardware to the ASUS ChromeOS mini PC. Now equipped with 12th generation Intel Core processors, the model supports WiFi 6E AX211 to deliver the best connection stability and supports Thunderbolt 4 connection for extremely fast data transfers.

The miniature computer can handle up to four external screens with 4K resolution, so it is still a good alternative with multitasking capabilities for better productivity at work or study.

Another highlight is its integrated wireless charger with 15W power for recharging cell phones, headphones and compatible products.

ASUS ProArt Station PD5

The workstation dedicated to the brand’s content creators is equipped with a cooling system that allows it to enable the maximum performance of its hardware, that is, a 13th generation Core i9 processor and versions with graphics cards that go up to the powerful RTX A4000 from the brand. NVIDIA with 16GB of VRAM.

This work platform can be purchased with up to 128GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, providing a solid foundation for memory-hungry applications such as video editing, machine virtualization and other uses. Despite the powerful hardware, the company claims that its noise emission should not exceed 40 dB.

The model leaves the factory with ProArt Creator Hub 2.0, a specialized software for tuning performance, calibrating colors, checking machine status and optimizing workstation workflow in a simplified and intuitive interface.

ASUS ExpertWiFi EBM68

The ExpertWiFi EBM68 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 router that offers more security for small and medium-sized businesses. With free subscription to ASUS AiProtection Pro, entrepreneurs can offer high-performance connections with speeds of up to 7,800 Mbps with 160 MHz channels in the 5 GHz band.

The model supports up to 5 SSIDs to accommodate different types of devices in separate use cases through the embedded Self-Defined Network software.

ASUS ProArt Display

New models of professional monitors have been released under the ProArt family. The ProArt Display PA279CRV is notable for being 30% thinner than its predecessor, in addition to boasting a 27-inch screen with 4K resolution and HDR display support. Its color calibration achieves coverage of 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut and 99% of the Adobe RGB gamut.

There are also the PA279CRV and PA329CRV models, with 27 and 32-inch screens. All models are 85% made of recycled plastic, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to protecting the environment.

ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM

Closing with one of the most advanced products among the releases, the ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM is a 31.5-inch monitor with an OLED screen, 4K resolution, HDR and 700 nits peak brightness. The display covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

This model has a sturdy aluminum finish. Its compact stand allows for bulkhead mounting for more spacious workstations or wall mounting in horizontal or vertical orientations—in both configurations, its height can be easily adjusted.

Its connectivity is also an advantageous factor, according to ASUS, which does not specify the available ports, but confirms that the monitor has Thunderbolt 4. The device will leave the factory with the ProArt Color Center, an embedded software that allows color calibration and guarantees the consistency of tones across different platforms.

price and availability

So far, the company has not revealed the suggested prices and availability date of the announced products, but it is possible that the components will not take long to debut on the market, since their monitors must compete directly with the new proposals of ViewSonic, for example.
