CES 2023 is packed with innovations like new laptops, Samsung foldable screens and more. Today the Canadian GluxKind Technologies presented an autonomous baby stroller that brings several amenities for fathers and mothers when walking with their children. The product was considered so interesting that it will compete for the CES 2023 Awards Honoree.

Called the Ella, the stroller is equipped with a dual motor to climb steep inclines, navigate bumpy roads and obstacles with ease. There are also sensors that detect movement around and alert if a car or bicycle approaches the cart, preventing accidents.

The Ella still has brake assistance, automatic parking and can even be used as a pedal-assisted type of electric bicycle, since it weighs 13.6 kg. The cart still locks the brakes if no one is around, preventing it from being pushed, for example.

The cart even detects when its owner is walking next to it, saving you from manually pushing it. Ella even has a “Rock-my-baby” which gently rocks the baby inside him so that he rests and calms down.

To help parents even more, the cart has additional compartments that can be used to carry shopping bags, in addition to following them when they want to let the child explore the place and play in the park, for example.

price and availability

Ella is already available for pre-sale on the official GluxKind Technologies website for a price equivalent to BRL 8,000. A Kickstarter campaign will launch between March and June 2023 to promote the product, but the final launch price has yet to be announced.
