L’Oreal Brow Magic prints your brow makeup through 2,400 tiny nozzles on the device, producing a resolution of 1,200 drops per inch. The user can read the shape, thickness and effects of eyebrows through the app Brow Magic on your phone.
It is precisely within the app where augmented reality comes into play. Using the smartphone camera, L’Oreal relies on its virtual makeup technology ModiFace AI to make personalized recommendations on effects like micro-blading and micro-shading.
At L’Oreal they recommend holding the equipment firmly to your face while printing. To apply the print, all you need is a sweeping motion to see the new look of your brows.
The French firm recommends adding a top coat to ensure the ink stays put. Also, Brow Magic eyebrow makeup disappears with the standard makeup remover.
L’Oreal hasn’t revealed the price and release date for the device, but expects it to launch later this year.
