This ID.7 features a smooth shape that helps maximize range by reducing aerodynamic drag. Air intakes at the front direct airflow around the sides of the vehicle for maximum efficiency, and the raked roofline was designed with lowering in mind.

The ID.7 will feature an updated interface with a 15-inch augmented reality touch screen and air outlets controlled through the central touch screen.
The climate control system can also automatically activate when the car senses the driver approaching, pre-cooling the interior on hot summer days, while the car’s heated steering wheel is activated by voice.
Regarding camouflage, Volkswagen boasts an electroluminescent design created with more than 40 layers of paint, some of which conduct electricity. A total of 22 different areas can be individually controlled to create different light patterns, which can be synchronized with the audio.
The ID.7 is expected to go on sale in North America as a 2024 model. It could replace the gasoline-powered VW Arteon, the automaker’s current full-size sedan.
