The Orlando International Airport reported hundreds of delays and disruptions this Wednesday due to the heavy rains and bad weather that has hit Florida and the east coast of the country since Tuesday, authorities reported.

Inclement weather has caused 537 delays and 102 cancellations of flights, according to reports from Flight Aware, cited Univision. All airlines saw at least five of their flights affected, the information details.

“The storm has impacted all operations, resulting in waits of up to 3 or 4 hours, according to user testimonies,” the news channel reported.

Most travelers will even have to wait until Saturday to resume their trips.

In the midst of the chaos, a passenger from Wisconsin mentioned that his flight was suspended and had no choice but to wait until the weekend.

Orlando Airport has issued the following recommendations for affected passengers:

– Contact the airline directly if your flight is delayed or canceled.

– Keep an eye on your email to receive information about your flight.

– Check the airline app to receive updates about your flight.

This Wednesday, a tornado warning was also issued that remained in effect until 5:00 pm in Lake, Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Marion counties.
