Like any other family, the English royals have their traditions. But this year everything is different.

The royals attended Christmas service at St. Mary Magdalene Church on Sunday. It is a long-standing Christmas tradition that can take place again after a two-year Corona break – and for the first time since the death of the Queen.

Finally, in celebration of her platinum throne jubilee in June, she charmed with a cute clip showing her and the bear enjoying a cup of tea together at Buckingham Palace. When the Queen died three months later, the fluffy bear touched on a Twitter post thanking his Queen for her life’s work.

And Kate also thought of the Queen again during her service, explaining in her speech: “This Christmas is the first without her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth.” She also made it clear: “Her Majesty Christmas was very important because it brought us together. “

The Queen would certainly have been very happy about this year’s royal Christmas, where the traditions of the family are honored.
