Chelsea owners also buy Strasbourg

BlueCo, the consortium that has owned Chelsea for a year, has agreed to buy French Strasbourg, ranked fifteenth in Ligue 1 last season, in which it will maintain its current president, Marc Keller, and in which “commits” to invest “in the growth of the club” in all its categories, from the quarry to the first team.

This was announced by the French entity in a statement, picked up by the local press, in which called the sale “a new chapter in the history” of the team.

“We have built a well-managed club. We are aware that we had reached the ceiling of our model and if we want to continue advancing and project Racing to a new dimension, we had to be accompanied by a solid structure capable of supporting our development and ambition.. I am looking forward to welcoming a new strategic investor, with whom we will accelerate the building of the Racing of tomorrow,” said Keller.
