Ciudad Juárez– Chihuahua is one of the states with the highest percentage of population with symptoms of depression in the country, according to the results of the last update of the National Wellbeing Survey Self-reported by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
The data shown show that the percentage of population with symptoms of depression during the first quarter of the year in Chihuahua was 16.4 per cent, while the national average was placed a little lower, with 15.4 per scient

Depression or anxiety are closely related to cases of suicide in the state.
In the last three years, the General State Inspectorate (FGE) registered 1,369 suicides in the state, mainly in the city of Chihuahua and Juárez, where most of these people are concentrated.
