Juarez City.- Next Thursday, April 13, the call to participate in the First Children’s Contest for the “Multicolor Bookplane” closes, informed the director of municipal Education, Martha Aracely González Holguín.

He commented that the invitation is aimed at students in fourth, fifth and sixth grade of primary school, as well as students in first, second and third grade of secondary school.

He pointed out that those interested can take their works to the Biblioavión facilities in Moctezuma street and Heroico Colegio Militar, from 9:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon.

González Holguín said that the objective is to improve the urban image of the Biblioavión through the talent of children and adolescents from Juarez, for which reason the first 10 places will be awarded.

Those interested must make a drawing of the shape of a Boeing 737 300 series aircraft, on its different sides and top. This work must include the emblematic “X” of the Plaza de la Mexicanidad and the Coat of Arms of Ciudad Juárez.

According to the call, the drawings can be made with materials and techniques such as colored pencil, crayons, markers, watercolor or pastel, among others, while the drawings will only be made in a format of 25 by 65 centimeters, on half cardboard in horizontal.

In addition, participants must submit a copy of the Unique Population Registration Code (CURP) that proves the age of the interested party, as well as the issuance of the last ticket for the grade in progress.

They must also fill out a registration of the contest “A Multicolor Airplane” signed by the father, mother or guardian so that the Municipality can use the drawing for dissemination purposes in the different Municipal Public Libraries and other spaces in the town, physically or virtually. , apart from accepting that it may be slightly modified based on the real dimensions of the Biblioplane and artistic criteria.

In this call, originality, creativity, cleanliness and the message projected by the theme “We are all Juárez and we are happy” will be taken into account, as well as the technique used.

González Holguín said that the first place winner will receive a cash prize of 10,000 pesos, while the second and third place will receive 7,000 and 5,000 pesos respectively. In addition, fourth and fifth place will receive 2,000 pesos each and sixth to tenth place will receive 800 pesos each.
