Google Chrome is about to receive a major update to provide its users with new features and enhancements to existing functions. However, this version called Chrome 110 it will not be compatible with all computers. That’s because the search giant is ending its support for devices running older versions of Windows.

Google Chrome will no longer work on these Windows

Chrome 110, the latest version of Google’s browser, should be available on February 7th. As of this date, the browser will stop working on computers running the following systems:

  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 8.1

As the years go by these operating systems tend to lose support from application developers and this is what is happening with Google Chrome. To run the new version of Chrome 110 it will be necessary to have a computer or notebook with the most recent versions of Windows, that is, Windows 10 or Windows 11.
