A intense confrontation between elements of the Armed Forces and armed civilians took place this Friday night in the municipality of Coalcomán, in Michoacan. According to the reports, members of the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA) were ambushed by presumed members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) with a deceased high-ranking officer and other more wounded soldiers.
