Through a statement posted on its social networks (Twitter), the watch company Casio announced that there is no sponsorship agreement for Gerard Piqué, after allegedly leaking support from the brand in the Kings League.
What began as an ironic joke before Shakira’s recently released song where he talks about the relationship with the former Barcelona soccer player and mentions the watch brand, could lead Piqué to a serious problem.
The statement denies any relationship with the Kings League and with Gerard Piqué, likewise they ask the latter not to use his brand anymore without his authorization.

Casio completely distances itself from these statements, so far there has been no agreement for said sponsorship or interest in carrying them out. Publicly requested Gerard Piqué to stop the use of our brand and avoid making statements that do not favor us in order to prevent legal actions ”, the letter reads.
In addition to this official statement, the Casio México page on Facebook posted an image where they appear to be ‘neutral’, since they assure that they do not support Shakira or Piqué.
It should be remembered that all this controversy occurred after Shakira premiered ‘Music Session #53’ with Bizarrap, since in one part she compares them to a Rolex, in analogy to Piqué’s infidelity, for which chaos broke out root of this stanza.
