Thinking about the elections that are one step closer every day, Santiago Cafiero said in recent statements that this year two models of the country are facing each other, and he highlighted Peronism as “development” with “social justice.”

“This year two country models are at stake: Peronism’s was always the Argentina of development with social justice,” said the former chief of staff. Along these lines, he added that “the vision was always to produce through our natural resources, generating added value, knowledge, interaction of public universities and national development.”

In addition, the chancellor highlighted the rights recognized by the party and assured that “our political force from its birth knew how to recognize rights but also make them effective.”

Lastly, he compared Mauricio Macri, former president of Argentina, with his allies in the rest of America. “We have to beat Trump, Bolsonaro and Macri. That extreme right with anti-democratic overtones, that is the representation of Together for Change (JxC) today and we have to beat that,” Cafiero stressed.
